CURRENT OPENINGS:
INTERNSHIPS: (1 POSITION)
We
are hiring now for Summer programs. You do not need to have any
experience. You must have an extremely evident attention to detail.
You'll be doing some extensive record checking and will need to have a
knack for thinking on your feet. Pays $10-$15 /hour.
Spanish language abilities get preference.
Telesales
Representative: (1 POSITION)
Your
task will be to promote Eagle and its services to
specific client bases. Prospects are already
pre-qualified and have an identified need for our
services. Pays $10/hour.
SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATOR: (1 POSITION)
You
must have at least 1 year of active surveillance experience. You must
be able to take rock-steady video. We will send you on an evaluation
assignment prior to your interview, and will ask you to bring both your
video and your report to the interview. Pays $25/hour and up based on experience and abilities.
COLLECTION AGENT: (1 POSITIONS)
We are looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish) collection agent with a
great phone demeanor. We specialize in niche accounts, and rarely have
medical or credit card debt accounts. Your time will be spent
between the phone (40%) and the courthouse (50%) and record
keeping (10%). This is not your typical collections job, and
consequently we're not looking for a typical applicant. You will be
proficient in spreadsheet technology and know how to write a letter.
You can choose a salary ($30k+ depending on experience) or commission.
BEFORE YOU APPLY:
Before we tell you how to join Eagle as a private investigator, we feel compelled to tell you the following:
1. The job is not always exciting. In fact, sometimes, it's plain
boring. This does not mean you can fall asleep or read a book, or watch
a DVD while on the job.
2. You have no more powers than an ordinary citizen. You don't
automatically get to carry a gun, and if you did, using it would
trigger far more consequences than it would for an ordinary civilian.
3. If you think you'd like to follow someone around, remember that
doing so without the direction of a licensed agency might land you in
the pokey for stalking. This includes following your spouse. Marrying
them does not entitle you to make them your prey.
4. Think about what you might do (or how you might feel) if the person
you were following suddenly stopped their car, jumped out, rolled up
their sleeves and headed your way.
5. If you have a criminal record, or an arrest of any kind don't waste your time or ours by applying.
6. If you can't follow simple instructions, you won't be hired. If you can't use a spellchecker you won't get hired either.
WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU'RE HIRED BY EAGLE:
- We pay the highest rates
in the city. Our philosophy behind this is very simple - we only want
the best and we're willing to pay well for it. You'll be expected to
earn your pay. No coasters allowed.
- We'll pay you weekly.
- We'll pay you whether our client pays us or not.
- We'll never expect you to do something for free.
- We'll treat you with the respect you deserve.
- You can expect to get fired immediately if we catch you in a lie.
- A 5:00 AM start time means you are in place and ready to work BEFORE 5:00
AM.
- You can expect to be able
to talk to any one of our current employees to ask their opinion on
management and what it's like to work with Eagle.
SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY:
We only accept applications by fax. If you call us on the phone, we'll
tell you we're not hiring. Why? Because you can't follow simple
instructions.
Fax the following:
- Resume
- One page letter explaining why you think you'd make a good addition to the Eagle team
- A note indicating where the typo is on this page.
Fax these three documents to:
(770) 234-4246 - Attn: HR
There
is no need to follow up with a phone call. If we're impressed by your
letter, or like what we see on your resume, trust us - we'll call you.
If you don't hear from us, you can assume we're not interested. No
amount of calling will change that.
MISCELLANEOUS
Most
people who have joined Eagle and left have gone on to form their own
agencies and are doing quite well. Some have chosen to open their
offices under the umbrella of Eagle and are doing extremely well.
Others have chosen to enter the military or law-enforcement arenas and
still stay in touch with us. We admire their courage daily.
People assume that this job is easy,
and anyone could do it. Other agencies may hire that mentality, and
that probably explains why they don't have the client list, or the
reputation Eagle has. We maintain high standards and these standards
start with our hiring process.
You'll be expected to be able to calculate simple math. You'll be
expected to understand English grammar. You'll be expected to be
courteous to others. And overall, you'll be expected to always
understand that it's not Eagle that pays your paychecks it's the client
that hired us to help them with some difficulty in their life.
With that in mind, you'll be expected to not run to the local gas
station to use the bathroom while on surveillance. You're being paid to
watch your subject and we expect you to do just that.
You can expect that Eagle managers may be observing you while you're on
surveillance. If you're doing your job, you'll see them coming. If you
don't you just might get fired.
Eagle was started because of the shoddy, unethical services provided by
other agencies in the state. Not every agency is bad, but there seems
to be more bad than good out there.
Eagle provides a money back guarantee to its clients. We don't know of
any other agency that does this. Maybe they don't respect their
customers the same way we do.
